Who is the VGKbugeyeGuy

June 29, 2019

Who is the real VGKbugeyeGuy?

My real name is Nick. I was born and raised in Southern California and grew up a Los Angeles Kings fan. When I completed my service in the United States Navy my family and I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. I am married and we have two children.

Why did I start making videos and podcasts?

I was looking for a place to vent. I was tired of the broadcasters and pundits talking shit about our Golden Knights. I watched every game and saw what was really going on in Vegas.

Hype videos and post game thoughts courtesy of the VGKbugeyeGuy seemed like a good solution. I have since spent the off season learning and developing tools and skills to provide better content for my subscribers. I really enjoy the Podcast format and will mostly focus on my weekly episodes. Filter Videos have been reserved for situations that have me really pissed off!

How did I become a Golden Knights fan?

Soon after the Vegas Golden Knights team name was revealed The VGKbugeyeWife and I decided to pony up the cash and buy 4 season tickets in Section 217! I knew after about 6 games into the regular season that this team was not going to suck.

The Golden Misfits persona and the hard nosed killer fore check and blazing speed style game they were playing was incredible to watch.

My fellow fans in the FORTRESS are second to none. How could we not love the Cinderella story that was unfolding right in front of us. From the tragedy on 1 October to the historic run to the Stanley Cup Finals all in the inaugural expansion year.

They helped this city heal and I am forever thankful.

VGKbugeyeGuy Signatures

I am not sure how I came up with my two signature callings but who doesn't like a little "Whats going on Vegas GOOOOOLLLLLDDDEEENNN Knights Fans" and my staple ending "And as Always…Go Knights Go!"
